YOU CAN TRUST GOD

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 9:10

What does it mean to trust someone? According to the dictionary, to trust means to rely on a person’s integrity, strength, ability or surety. When we trust someone, we have confidence in that person; we know that we can rely on them.

Today’s verse tells us that those who know God trust him. We can rely on his integrity, strength and ability; we have confidence in him. He has shown us his trustworthiness through his Word, in the lives of other people and in our own lives. The promise is that God never abandons anyone who searches for him.

Are you struggling with trusting God? Perhaps you’re in a questioning, doubtful frame of mind because of circumstances beyond your control. If so, keep seeking. God will not abandon those who are seeking him. May your search lead you back to God. 

GOD’S PROMISE TO ME:

• I always know when and why you’re searching.

• I will not abandon you in your search for me.

MY PRAYER TO GOD:

You promise, Lord, that you have never abandoned anyone who searches for you. Lead me to your truth. Amen.
