What We Believe

Statement of Faith

The following are the core beliefs of
International Bible Baptist Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

1. We believe in the Bible as the infallible Word of God, the only basis of our faith and practice.
II Tim. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21
2.  We believe that Salvation is only by Grace through Faith alone. It calls for repentance towards God and Faith towards the
Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8; Romans 5:1
3.  We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Ghost, without human father.
Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23
4.  We believe in the atonement through His blood.
I John 1:7; Hebrews 9:22
5.  We believe that there’s only one living and true God and in the Unity of the Godhead there are three distinct persons: 
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 
Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 45:9-18; Ephesians 2:4
6.  We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:7
7.  We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit,
the third person of the Godhead.
John 16:7-11; Ephesians 1:13-14
  1. We believe in the personality of Satan and the reality of sin.        Isaiah 14:12; Ezekiel 28:14-17
9. We believe in the eternal heaven as the destiny of the believers and eternal hell for the unsaved.
John 14:1-3; Luke 16
10. We believe in the local New Testament Church, founded by the Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry.
Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28: 19-20
11.  We believe in the bodily, personal second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His saints. It is pre-mellenial and pretribulational.
Matthew 24; Luke 21; I Thess. 4:13-18
12.  We believe in God’s Sovereign Grace and His absolute will. Romans 11:5; John 1:13
13. We believe in the doctrine of separation from
worldliness and doctrinal error.
Psalm 1; Amos 3:3
14.  We believe in the Great Commission as given to the local Church to reach the lost until He finally comes.
